My intention as a Holistic Health Practitioner, (a term accepted, which implies and derives from the philosophy of working with a-whole-person approach to care, applying natural and preventative methods) is to aid in the relief of pain and stress, by helping to increase general health. To make sure that happens, I’ve harmonized an array of techniques and perspectives, mainly crafted from Massage Therapy, Yoga and Homeopathy, into one practice called, Integrative Classical Homeopathy with Therapeutic Massage & Yoga.  This offering gives clients an array of choices for optimizing health and wellness through a body/mind approach.

I have studied  Nutrition, Indoor  Air  Pollution  and Stress  Management  at  the  Empire  State College in Nyack, New York and then graduated in 1993 from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in Manhattan. I bought a massage practice in Nyack at that time and there had maintained a full-time clientele.  During that time, and after moving   my   residence   to   Westchester County in 2000, my business had evolved into a full- time clientele from both Rockland and Westchester counties. Currently, I am conveniently  located  in  the Village  of Tarrytown, NY; close to both counties and major highways  and  very  near  to  the  cut-through  to the  Saw  Mill  River  Parkway,  neighboring Pocantico and East View.
In my early years of my massage practice, I’ve augmented my education throughout incorporating skills such as trigger  Point  Therapy, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, CranioSacral  Therapy  and  viewpoints from Neuromuscular Movement Therapy Training.  I’ve become experienced with helping those with conditions like,   arthritis, fibromyalgia, torticollis, scoliosis, sprains, whiplash, tendinitis, anxiety, headaches and Parkinson’s disease.  I am also certified in Prenatal Massage & practice meditation regularly.

Homeopathic training was received at the Hudson Valley School of Classical Homeopathy, in the beautiful Hudson Valley, New York, where I earned 620 hours of basic and advanced primary training.  At the Homeopathy School International of Loveland Colorado, I earned the required clinical training hours (400), prescribed by the Council for Homeopathic Certification.  I have also studied under Dr. Will Taylor, Dr. Luc De Schepper and Dr. Farokh Master.  A personal understanding of this profound healing method was also attained prior, through my experience as a homeopathic client for many years, which I hope will also be an asset in helping others through this modality.

Yoga Teacher Training and additional training in Yoga for Arthritis was completed at Integral Yoga of NYC, which comes on the heels of a long established personal Yoga practice through several well-known Yoga instructors including, Andes Bell of Energy Yoga Therapy and Nevine Michaan of Katonah Yoga.

Throughout most my life, I have sustained an ardent devotion to the harmonies in nature, which have attracted me to my profession. The heart of my therapeutic approach is to develop a set of individual goals for each client then, as an art and science, use my knowledge and experience of the healing process to ensure those goals are achieved.
